Driving Documents: Don’t forget the paperwork! Read our guide on “Valid Driver’s Licenses in Japan” carefully. Make sure every person planning to drive has their documents ready before flying.

Need a delivery service? You can easily add options for vehicle delivery to your hotel and the airport. Please note that an extra service fee applies for this delivery service.

Book Early: Our vehicles and popular campsites fill up fast! To avoid disappointment, we suggest booking your spot 2 to 3 months ahead.

Valid Driver's Licences in Japan

The type of driver’s license required to drive in Japan does not depend on the driver’s nationality (passport country). It is determined by the country that issued the driver’s license and the country of residence of the driver.

You will need to present your passport and an international driving permit. You can drive for the shorter of either the “valid period of the international driving permit (one year from issuance)” or “one year from the date of entry into Japan” (*1).
(*1) Confirmed by the entry stamp in your passport.
Driving with an international driving permit based on the Paris Convention (1926), Washington Convention (1943), or Vienna Convention (1968) is not permitted in Japan. For more details, please check the official websites of the respective countries.

You will need to present your national driver’s license, a Japanese translation of your license, and your passport. The valid period is the shorter of either “one year from the date of entry into Japan” or “the validity period of your national driver’s license.”

Cancellation Policy

Our Cancellation Policy defines the conditions and refund amount you will receive should you need to cancel your car rental reservation. Please note that the refund percentage is strictly dependent on the time frame in which you notify us before your scheduled Pickup Date. To avoid loss of prepayment, please review the details below:

Service Area

We offer flexible vehicle delivery and pick-up services throughout the greater Tokyo area. Our goal is to ensure maximum convenience and a seamless, hassle-free start and end to your trip.

Complimentary pickup and drop-off is offered exclusively at the Kaihimmakuhari Station, Chiba
allowing you to begin and end your rental experience with no additional fees.

For maximum convenience, premium delivery and collection services are available directly at major Airports (such as Narita and Haneda) or any other hotel within the wider Tokyo area. This premium service, which eliminates the need for you to travel to our complimentary location, is provided for a fixed fee of ¥10,000 JPY per service (i.e., ¥10,000 for pickup and ¥10,000 for drop-off).

Choose your vehicle, travel dates, and any extras you need — all in just a few clicks.

Choose your adventure vehicle, select your travel dates, and pick any extra gear you need — from rooftop tents to premium camp equipment.


Once you’re ready, complete your booking with secure online payment. You’ll receive a confirmation email with all the details, including pick-up location and rental summary.


You can view or manage your booking anytime via your personal booking link.

PICK UP & Explore

Collect your fully prepped camper and hit the road. Everything’s ready for your adventure.

Arrive at your selected pick-up point (showroom or airport) at the scheduled time. Our team will guide you through the vehicle features, how to use your gear, and answer any last-minute questions.


Pick-up usually takes around 15–30 minutes, depending on equipment and walkthrough.

Running late?

Please contact us as soon as possible. We allow a 30-minute grace period. After that, a late fee may apply, and same-day rescheduling is subject to availability.

Once you’re all set — you’re free to roam.

RETURN EASILY

Drop off at the agreed location, hassle-free and on your schedule.

Please return the vehicle on time and with a full tank of fuel, unless fuel refill is included in your package.
Late returns are subject to additional hourly or daily fees as outlined in your booking terms.

Before you return:

  • Remove all personal items
  • Clean up trash or debris
  • Report any damage or malfunction

 

Our staff will do a quick check of:

  • Fuel level
  • Exterior/interior condition
  • Included equipment

 

Any damages, missing items, or cleaning required beyond normal use may result in extra charges.

When all is clear, we’ll finalize your booking and send you a return confirmation by email.
